CSDS-Lokniti

Lokniti is the research programme of the Centre for the Study of Developing Societies (CSDS), Delhi — an academic institution rather than a commercial agency. It is known for the National Election Studies (NES) and rigorous, probability-sampled face-to-face post-poll surveys, with detailed demographic and social-cleavage analysis. Its findings are frequently published with The Hindu and CNN-News18.
