Polls Watch is a public reference site. You do not need an account to use it, and apart from standard Google Analytics, we do not collect or store your personal data.
The only analytics we use is Google Analytics 4, which helps us understand which pages are useful. Through it, Google collects aggregate, pseudonymous usage data such as pages viewed, approximate (city-level) location, device and browser type, and referring links. We also log search terms typed into the site search to Google Analytics, so we can see what people look for and improve coverage. We do not attempt to identify you from any of this.
We do not require sign-ups, and we do not run our own database of visitor information. We do not sell, rent or share personal data. We do not run advertising or build advertising profiles. Beyond Google Analytics, we do not store any data about you.
The survey data on the site concerns published, aggregate polling and contains no personal information about individual poll respondents.
Google Analytics sets its own cookies to measure usage. You can block or delete these in your browser settings, or install Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on. The site works fully without them.
Analytics data is processed by Google under its Privacy Policy. The site is hosted on Vercel, which may process standard server request logs on our behalf. We do not control, and are not responsible for, the privacy practices of external sites we link to.
Our Android app shows the same website inside an app wrapper and follows this same policy. App and web usage are distinguished only as an aggregate label in analytics; nothing extra about you is collected in the app.
The Service is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from them.
We may update this policy from time to time; the “last updated” date above will change accordingly. See also our Terms of Use.
